Theology on Tap this month features the book Great Heresies by Hilaire Belloc. We will meet at Macado’s in Blacksburg. During dinner we will be discussing the book. The Event starts at 5:30 and offically ends at 7:00pm. We invite you to come and join us for discussion, friendly atmosphere and fun whether you have read the book or not.

In his work Belloc highlights his vast knowledge of history as he outlines and examines the five most destructive heretical movements to have affected Christianity. Namely: Arianism, Mohammedanism (Islam), Albigensianism (Cathar), The Reformation (Protestant) and the “Modern Phase,” or “Modern Attack.”  All five of these attacks on Christianity have continued to be relevant in light of current events today.
